OPEN MIC

Free show! Yes please!

Our next Open Mic night will be Friday, April 23rd. The show starts at 7:00 pm and will be hosted in front of the main entrance of the school outdoors. The event is free to attend. This open mic night's theme will be the beach! Sign up to perform by 9:00am on Thursday, April 22nd.

THE DETAILS

Open Mic Night is completely free to attend. We don’t charge a fee because we want everyone who wants to attend to be able to attend. The downside to making this event free is the fact that we now have a limited number of tickets to give out so that we may stay within the fire code. The fire marshall states that the Ferguson theater may only hold 275 people, roughly. We have had an event where 320 people showed up, and were let in. Since that show we have now placed a ticket limit only allowing 250 entrance into the theater, keep in mind we have our tech crew and performers so we reach the maximum compacity for every show. All that being said, come one, come all, and above all come early!

*Please note Open Mic is currently being held outdoors due to COVID-19. All are welcome to attend, but there is limited parking in the senior lot. You are welcome to sit outdoors, but masks must be worn when within 6 feet of another attendee.

THE SECRETLY GIFTED

“Open Mic Night is an event created by the students for the student. Students with any sort of talent can come to a share it in front of nearly 300 students, teachers, and parents. We’ve seen students sing, dance, write poetry, tell jokes, and more. It’s a free exciting event, and everyone is welcome to come so check the planned dates below.”
-Austin Hoag, President 2016-2017
