SPIRIT WEEK

SGA hosts several events leading up to the homecoming game/ dance. Class competitions are one of these events. Each grade paints a window in the commons and a banner. Teachers then vote on their favorite banner and favorite window. The winning grade is announced on the Friday of the homecoming game. SGA also hosts a chalk walk at the front of the school where clubs can sign up to decorate a square. Teachers will then vote on the best-decorated square and winners for that will be announced the Friday of the homecoming game. Additionally, SGA votes on the spirit days. Each day of homecoming week has a spirit day where students are encouraged to dress according to the theme. Past themes have included VSCO girl/ Frat boy day, decades day, and of course Pj day. Each day, you can vote for the best-dressed student in the school. The student that gets voted best dressed gets a picture in the yearbook and a prize!
