WELCOME ABOARD WEEK

Happy 1st week back from summer break admirals!

To welcome students back to school from summer break, SGA hosts a week of fun events! Past days have included free candy Friday, joke day, and handing out post-it notes with positive messages.

SGA plans these events at Summer Workday. The summer workday is held a week or two before the start of school. SGA members bond over a scavenger hunt and team-building games then spend the rest of the afternoon serving. Students serve through cleaning teacher classrooms, preparing for the welcome aboard week, and painting the rock.
